Research Use Policy
Effective June 25, 2026
This Research Use Policy explains the intended use of, and the conditions of sale for, every product offered by Sparta Labs, LLC ("Sparta Labs," "we," "us," or "our") through the website located at spartalabs.net (the "Site"). It is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service (/legal/terms-conditions), and it applies to all products without exception. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Policy.
All products sold by Sparta Labs are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and development use only. They are not for human or animal use of any kind. You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to order.
1. What "Research Use Only" Means
"Research Use Only" ("RUO") means a product is intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research and development conducted by, or under the supervision of, qualified technical personnel. It is a designation about intended use and scope of sale — not a quality grade and not a statement about safety or suitability for any use outside a controlled laboratory setting.
Everything we sell is an RUO research compound. Nothing we sell is a drug, dietary supplement, food, food additive, beverage, cosmetic, medical device, or household chemical, and nothing we sell is offered, formulated, labeled, or intended for any use other than laboratory research.
2. Intended Use and Prohibited Uses
The following limitations apply to every product, without exception, and define the sole intended use of everything we sell:
• Products are not intended for human or veterinary use, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or consumption of any kind, and are not intended for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
• Products are not intended or offered to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent any disease, ailment, or condition in humans or animals.
• Products are not sterilized, formulated, labeled, or tested by Sparta Labs for safety or efficacy in any human, veterinary, food, drug, cosmetic, or clinical application.
• Products may not be resold, relabeled, repackaged, or distributed for human or animal use, or in any manner that would represent them as drugs, supplements, foods, or cosmetics.
Any use of a product outside the scope described above is strictly prohibited, is solely at your own risk, and is undertaken without our knowledge, authorization, or endorsement. We make no representation that any product is suitable or lawful for any purpose other than lawful laboratory research.
3. Regulatory Status
The products sold on the Site have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") or any other regulatory authority for any use, and these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Products are research compounds and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Sparta Labs is a chemical supplier. Sparta Labs is not a compounding pharmacy or chemical compounding facility as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ("FDCA"), and is not an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503B of that Act. The regulatory status of a compound as an approved pharmaceutical in any jurisdiction, where applicable, is distinct from, and does not alter, its sale here as an RUO research material.
4. Buyer Eligibility and Responsibilities
By placing an order, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:
1. You are at least twenty-one (21) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
2. You are acquiring products solely for in-vitro laboratory research purposes and not for human or animal consumption or any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic purpose.
3. You are a qualified researcher or are affiliated with, or acting on behalf of, a laboratory, academic, institutional, commercial, or other research entity that warrants the lawful purchase and handling of research compounds.
4. You are knowledgeable about, and will comply with, accepted laboratory safety practices and the proper handling, storage, and disposal of research chemicals, including any associated health and safety hazards.
5. You are solely responsible for determining and complying with all federal, state, local, and foreign laws, regulations, and licensing requirements applicable to your purchase, possession, and use of the products in your jurisdiction.
You acknowledge that a purchase made by anyone who does not have the affiliations or intent described above may constitute a misrepresentation for which you may be held responsible.
5. No Medical Advice; No Dosing or Administration Guidance
All articles, research summaries, references, certificates of analysis, and educational materials on the Site are provided for informational and educational purposes only and reflect publicly available scientific literature. They are not medical, clinical, or professional advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Sparta Labs does not provide, and nothing on the Site constitutes, dosing guidance, reconstitution or administration instructions, protocols, or any recommendation for human or animal use. We do not make, and you should not infer, any therapeutic, performance, or health claim regarding any product.
6. Certificates of Analysis
Certificates of Analysis ("COAs") describe analytical characterization — such as identity and purity — for a specific catalog item and lot. A COA is a research-quality document. It does not expand, alter, or supersede the research-use-only intended scope of sale described in this Policy and our Terms of Service, and it is not a representation that any product is fit or safe for any human, veterinary, or clinical use.
7. Handling, Storage, and Safety
Research compounds may present health and safety hazards and must be handled only by qualified personnel using appropriate laboratory practices, protective equipment, and containment. You are solely responsible for the safe receipt, handling, storage, use, and disposal of every product in accordance with applicable safety data, institutional protocols, and law. Sparta Labs is not responsible for any harm, loss, or liability arising from your handling, possession, or use of any product.
8. Compliance With Laws
You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with all laws, regulations, and licensing requirements applicable to you, including those of your own country, state, and locality. The purchase, possession, and use of certain compounds may be restricted or prohibited in some jurisdictions. We rely on you to purchase only what is lawful for you to acquire and use, and you agree not to use, resell, or distribute any product in a manner that would cause it to be adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the FDCA or introduced into interstate commerce in violation of that Act.
9. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse, limit, suspend, cancel, or terminate any order or account; to require verification of your research affiliation or intended use before fulfilling an order; and to decline service to anyone we believe is an unqualified purchaser or who we reasonably believe intends to use a product in a manner inconsistent with this Policy. Any communication indicating an intent to misuse a product may result in cancellation of your order and retention of relevant information in an internal record used to screen future orders.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may amend this Policy at any time by posting the revised version on the Site with an updated "Effective" date. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site or placement of an order after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
